Delivery lead time is approximately 6 weeks from order placed to shipping out, this can vary depending on the time of year and backlog. If you need your order faster, we can offer a £50 fast track option on the majority of our alternators which is 2 weeks lead time from order to shipping. If after you have ordered and i dont respond to a query immediately, please dont be alarmed, its very busy behind the scenes and i receive hundreds of requests so i have to prioritise screen time but be rest assured i am working on your order and will respond to you as soon as i can. If you dont have a response after 72 hours , please feel free to send me a polite reminder to come back to you.

Alternators can be painted in a colour of your choice using a hard wearing 2 pack epoxy paint. You can specify a colour code when placing your order and we can match as close as possible. Please put this in notes to seller section.

12 months warranty on parts and labour. This includes full support from us on installation and operation once the alternator is delivered. Warranty does not include any costs to remove and/or reinstall the alternator in the instance of a warranty claim. Return shipping will be arranged free of charge. Warranty does not cover user error, it covers for defects that are out of your control. If it is deemed that user error has caused failure, a quote for the repair will be offered including the costs for collection and return of the alternator. If the non-warranty repair is not required, a quote will be supplied to return the alternator including the original collection fees.

A 20% surcharge will be subtracted from any refund if requested 7 days after payment has been made to cover administrative and re- stocking costs.

Most of the alternators that are offered on our website are made to order. Returns are accepted but a 25% surcharge will be subtracted from any refund to cover administrative, restocking and shipping costs. Return shipping is to be paid by the buyer returning the item.

As a result of installing an aftermarket alternator, this may bring up dash lights/faults. This is generally not an issue for function but is more of a nuisance. If you want full compatibility, please make sure this is known before the order is placed so we can do as much as possible to resolve this and discuss options.

Although we try to ensure the alternators are a straight direct fit, there may still be a need for slight modification such as slight grinding of the case , spacing of the case or pulley, longer mounting bolts required etc. Most of the high output alternators sold come with a smaller pulley than standard so a short belt could be required. We will do all we can to support this and resolve any issues that may occur during installation. We are not responsible for any costs incurred if fitment is different or incorrect, there is only so much compatibility checking we can do without having the car in front of us although we will do everything possible to check this before an alternator is recommended. Compatibility should be checked and confirmed before any payable work is carried out once the alternator is in your possession.

Once an order has been placed , we do not recommend booking an installation date until the alternator is in your possession. We will not be held responsible for needing to cancel an appointment if the alternator has not arrived by that date. Standard lead times are approximate and there could be delays after shipping for any orders.

The majority of the alternators under offer are remanufactured used unless stated otherwise. They are refurbished to a high standard replacing any parts which are wearable, perishable or near there end of life . This includes bearings, brushes, seals, pulleys, rectifiers, regulators, stators, rotors or cases (basically any part that we deem is severely past its usable life). This significantly reduces the prices we can offer the alternators without having any effect on functionality, durability or reliability. As they are previously used, they may show signs of this including missing fins on the case heatsink, scratches or any other signs of use, none of which would effect longevity. If you would prefer a brand new alternator, please let us know and we can provide a cost using brand new equipment instead. The warranty is still the same with refurbished or brand new.

* Engine/Alternator RPM is based on a crank pulley to alternator pulley ratio of 1:3 which is the approximate standard for most installations. If the ratio is different on your pulley layout, the current outputs stated could differ marginally.
